so deeper thoughts now that i've reread both the original and this one :
-much better flow indeed and the blood curse makes for a stronger motivation for the sheaim mother
- the scene with the ministers is excellent in portraying the balseraph structural organization (or lack thereof), and the cameo from Koun is more than welcome ^^
-one thing that i think i like a bit less is the fact that her age is explicited to be 8 when she starts taking control. The original was more vague ( 8 was the scene with Puppy, but the time in between that and her takeover with Giggles is unclear). I've always imagined her in her cell till her late teens, but spending the years learning summoning.
-was Prespur ever Balseraph ? ( i remember the names were switched a lot in the early days, but i don't remember that particular one)

As a civ, Balseraphs were one of the few civs that had a bunch of bonuses to a bunch of areas which made them stand out. Balseraphs had great representation in the scenarios. The 6(?) way tournament and then Keelyn’s assault on the gate of hell were both great.

Honestly all I remember is that Loki is annoying AF to deal with, lol. Been ages since I've played this mod, so maybe I'll reinstall it and give it another go!

Prespur … You might be right, the capital was Jubilee. Maybe Prespur was Lanun? (Edit: No, Calabim. Good catch!)

Thanks for commenting. You can tell both the designers and artists were inspired by the Balseraphs by the many fun unique units they have.
And I’m very amused Keelyn was added to the Hell scenario. It adds a fun bit of whimsy to what’s otherwise kind of dour. Still dark whimsy, of course.
